Looking for a gentle, sweet, and affectionate girl? Sadie Mae could be the one for you! According to her foster mom, she is the easiest dog ever and has been a perfect polite house guest during her stay. Here are a few things we love about this girl: she’s housebroken, crate-trained, quiet indoors and outdoors, and rides well in the car. She’s also really good at matching the energy level in her home, so she’s happy to go for a walk when you want to, but she can also just relax in the house when it’s time to do so.

Sadie Mae has been working on her basic obedience skills, and she’s already getting good at “sit” and “paw.” She is also polite on leash and greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail. Sadie Mae can be curious outside when she finds a good scent or sees a nice squirrel or chipmunk, so we feel a fenced yard would be best for her.

So why’s such a great dog looking for a home, you might ask? Well, Sadie Mae was surrendered to a southern shelter at no fault of her own, because her owners could no longer care for her. Her previous family reported that she is good with other dogs, cats, and children.
