Schmitty is an adorable hound mix, ready to become a permanent fixture in his forever family! Schmitty is housebroken, crate-trained, and friendly with everyone, including kids and other dogs. He enjoys walks and exercise but is more than happy to cuddle up with his people on the couch. He knows some basic commands and is a quick study ready to learn more!

Schmitty rides well in the car, walks nicely on leash, and has laid at his foster parents’ feet in a restaurant. He currently lives with children and has previously lived with multiple dogs, but is perfectly happy as the only dog as well. He has not been tested with cats. Schmitty would make the perfect addition to any family looking to open their hearts to a loyal, easygoing companion.
