Sollie – Adopted!

  • Boston Terrier,
  • male,
  • 5 years,
  • 33 lbs.

Who is that awkwardly staring at you? Don’t worry, It is only the most perfect dog ever! Well, minus his weird stares. His name is Sollie (Ollie to his friends) and he is as perfect as they get. This little guy has one goal in life….to be your constant companion. He is very easy going and is fine with just a little walk and then back to home sweet home. He is house trained and rarely barks (unless startled by a loud noise). He is crate trained and will snuggle in his “Ollie’s Oasis” along with his blanket, pig, lamb, hedgehog, and Kong toy as long as you need him to. You will find that no crate is needed though and he can be completely trusted to have free roam of your home when you are out. Ollie is tolerant of other dogs but would prefer a quiet home with an older lazy friend or as an only dog. He is not one for rough play or wrestling and has expressed that he wants nothing to do with those energetic puppies! He walks on a leash very nicely, but occasionally will use his small but mighty strength and just needs a gentle reminder not to pull. It will take a little while for Ollie to trust, but once he does he will be attached at your hip.
Olie has a very shiny coat and some unique polka dots on his skin. He loves belly rubs but it will take a little while to understand his language (unless you already speak pig). Ollie will snort most of the day and the happier he gets the more odd noises he produces. What seems to be a growl at first is actually a…happy snorting purr!? Ollie loves car rides and playing with his toys. He is good with older, gentle kids but is more of a quiet cuddler than a playmate. Cats unknown.
