A timid yet playful 1yr old little girl, Tweety originally hails from the Lone Star State but is quickly adjusting to the cold and snow. Affectionately known in her foster home as Sweetie, Tweety is the full package: puppy cuteness and personality, super soft fur, cuddles for days, medium energy level and good house manners (including being housebroken). Although she’s working on learning basic commands in her foster home, she is responsive to directions and easily redirected. Her favorite place to be is curled up on the floor beside her person, sitting next to her person with her head in their lap, or following her person around to see what kind of adventure awaits! All she requires is a human to be close to and she’s happy. Although she is timid when meeting new people and likes to hang close to her foster mom until she feels comfortable, Tweety is well worth the wait! As soon as she is ready, Tweety repays your patience with tons of cuddles and affection.

Tweety does well with the other dogs in her foster home as well as her 6yr old human foster brother, and has shown little to no interest in the resident cat. She tends to be submissive and shy when playing with other dogs until she figures out her place, so she would benefit from some positive reinforcement when meeting new 4-legged friends.

Tweety is an excellent travel companion as she rides well in a car and is always excited to go wherever you are headed. If you are looking for a young dog with lots of love to give to add to your family, Tweety may be the gal for you!
