She is house-trained, crate-trained, and working on her leash skills, which are good until a small furry critter crosses her path. She loves to patrol the yard at her foster’s home to chase away the chipmunks and flies like the wind after them. She knows the sit command and has barked to alert her foster family of incoming visitors.

Twyla is a love muffin who loves to snuggle up with her humans at night. She enjoys playing fetch with balls and chewing on nylabones. She was found as a stray and then lived with her Arkansas foster family in a home with many other dogs, but she has not had a lot of structure in her life, so a slow introduction to new dog pals is necessary. She is a little too interested in cats to live with them. Given Twyla’s enthusiasm and high energy, she would be better suited to a home without small children. She will thrive in a home with experienced dog owners and an active lifestyle to keep this smartypants engaged.
