Vanna – adopted!

  • Hound mix,
  • female,
  • 6+ years,
  • 35 lbs.

Our dear Vanna is a sweet, gentle lady. It seems that her life hasn’t been that great up until now, but she deserves to be pampered for the rest of it. She is enjoying being spoiled in her foster home. Vanna greets everyone happily, and loves other dogs and kids. She loves to play with her foster siblings, so we are looking for a home with a canine companion for her. Snuggling with a canine friend is her favorite thing. She also gets pretty silly playing with her toys. Vanna is good on leash and you don’t even notice her in the car. She is quiet except when playing and pouncing on her toys. She loves to share a snack or steal one if you leave it unattended. Vanna was picked up by a good Samaritan on a major highway down south. The other dog she was with was hit and killed in the road and Vanna wouldn’t leave her. Vanna was emaciated and full of ticks. She has been tested twice, and amazingly no tick diseases. It appears she has had multiple litters of puppies. She was ok with the cats she lived with in a former foster home. Vanna is ready for the next chapter in her life as a family pet with a soft bed, yummy treats, and people to tell her she is a good girl.
