Wanda is a sweet, quiet girl, who once she gets to know you will happily snuggle, give plenty of kisses and keep that tail wagging all day long! She is looking for a kind, gentle home with adults and possibly older, patient children to teach her the world is not scary. She is timid but warms up quickly!

She is learning that new things/new noises are really okay. She is treat motivated and we are working on simple commands, car training and leash training. Once she is on leash, she is a gentle walker and seems to enjoy herself.

Wanda is not a barker, loves to play with other dogs, runs/walks around the yard happily sniffing and laying in the sunshine, and really loves to snuggle with her person on the couch. She is a little too interested in cats for their comfort. She is house-trained and crate trained, although she does not need to be crated.
Wanda has learned to relax and enjoy the safety and security of her foster home. She will need an adopter with a secure physical fence and another dog to help her gain confidence. Wanda will make someone’s home complete with her gentle disposition and ability to show her love and appreciation to her forever people!
