Furry Fun Run 2024 – Registration is OPEN!

Join us for the 16th Annual Furry Fun Run, a 5K Run/Walk for people AND dogs! Register NOW! This great fundraiser to benefit Peppertree Rescue will take place at the Warming Hut off the scenic Avenue of the Pines in Saratoga State Park on Saturday April 27th!

Early Bird Registration is just $25 and ends on April 12th! After April 12th registration will go up to $30 and day of will be $35. Day of registration will begin at 8am and end by 8:45am. The race kicks off at 9:15am.

The Furry Fun Run was the first 5k in the area to welcome dogs, and it is a do-not-miss event! If you are not up for running, we welcome walkers too! Day-of-registration is $35 so do not forget to register early.

The first 25 people to register can opt to receive a free run t-shirt, and if you collect $100 or more in donations for Peppertree Rescue, then your registration fee can be refunded the day of the run.

Proceeds of this event go to benefit the dogs of Peppertree Rescue. Peppertree Rescue is a volunteer run organization dedicated to helping dogs of good temperament – we do not discriminate based on breed, age or health.

Are you looking for a small mellow companion? Then look no further! Timothy checks off all the boxes. He is good with other dogs, cats, pocket pets and children of all sizes. He is house broken and enjoys walking outside. Timothy would prefer a home where someone is home most of the time because he likes to be curled up next to his people. He also likes to sleep in bed and sleep in. He rides perfect in the car and would make a great travel companion due to his mellow nature.

Thea is a sweet girl that has had a rough start to life, but is really looking forward to finding her forever home with someone she can trust and love.  She has been in rescue for about 3 months, she came to us with 2.5 week old puppies. She is a wonderful and caring mother that did a great job raising her babies.

Mikey is a 5 yr old neutered male chihuahua who loves other dogs, cats, and especially his people! He is housebroken/crate trained and is an all around lovebug. This little sweetheart is a good car passenger, too! Mikey is obviously the whole package.  He does have a history of epilepsy but is currently very stable on meds.  Mikey has a medium energy level and he would be most content with another dog in the home for company.

Clementine is a sweet, smart girl who was found as a stray in Texas. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash. She is a good watch dog that alerts her foster family to people at the door. After a slow introduction, she has nicely greeted every person she has met and some folks even get her endearing, fuzzy head on their knee or lap.
