The “Singer pups” are four adorable pups who arrived with their mother, Mama Cass, and have been growing and thriving in foster care these past few weeks.  We are not sure what they’re mixed with (DNA results still pending).  Mama Cass weighs 52 lbs.  Whatever they are, they are ridiculously cute and growing fast as weeds!  We guesstimate they may be anywhere from 60 to 80 lbs full grown.

Onyx

Onyx – 3 year old male Goldendoodle, 50 lbs – Onyx is a sweet and friendly boy who loves to play with other animals and children. He also loves tractors and helicopters so he’s best kept in a fenced yard, so he doesn’t see one and try to catch it. He is great at coming to recall otherwise – he hates to be lonely so if he sees you walk away from him he will come to find you.  Onyx is very devoted to his people.  Onyx gets anxious when he is alone so he needs another dog or human to keep him company. He loves to snuggle and will stand to hug you when you say “give me hugs.”  Onyx does best with positive reinforcement. Often times he will bring a toy or another object to show you and he expects it to be commented on “look what you have”. He does have sensitive skin, so diet is important. While Trixee is an energetic dog she is very good at entertaining herself – either with a bone or toy in the house, or by keeping busy in the yard. She is even taking up gardening and has learned to pick watermelons, although she has not quite figured out to wait until they are ripe. Trixee also enjoys playing with other dogs – she quite enjoys a game of chase, as long as she can set the rules.
