Meet Primrose! This sweet girl came to us with her 5 babies, when the owners surrendered her they told a volunteer “this was her 5th litter” we only estimate this baby to be about 5 years old.
As most of her life appears to have been raising puppies up to this point this sweet girl has a lot to learn. She is pretty good with her house keeping (potty trained) but appears to be afraid of her own shadow.
She has to learn to trust, and be a dog, she is however very sweet, very happy and willing to begin that journey!
Primrose is a petite girl only weighing about 35 pounds. She appears to be a hound mix of some type and hops like a bunny!! Older kids may be better simply because her manners with jumping are currently needing some work.
She appears to be good with cats and likes dogs as well.

Cocoa is a 2 year old lab mix who is looking for a home in the great Northeast. She is a stray from Southern Texas and weighs 50 lbs. She was found wandering a school yard visiting all the children. She is super friendly and affectionate with all. She loves school age kids! She is the perfect size at 50 pounds and 2 years is a great age. Cocoa would enjoy a home with a fenced yard or a person who likes to take her for walks. She is also dog friendly with big and small dogs and currently living with many dogs. Meet Murphy, a big, lovable, and energetic 4-year-old Labrador Retriever who has so much to offer to the right family! This handsome boy loves people and will always greet you with a wagging tail and a happy smile. Although he may be too rambunctious for small children, he is great with adults and will shower you with affection and playtime.
Murphy is a natural athlete and has a strong desire to explore his surroundings. He loves going for walks, but his leash skills are a work in progress, so a fenced yard would be ideal for him to play safely. While Murphy likes other dogs, he can be overwhelming for some, and he is not suitable to live with cats.
This big guy (80 lbs) is also very intelligent and learns quickly. He is already housebroken and crate trained. Plus, Murphy is an excellent candidate for dock diving or other canine sports, thanks to his athleticism and love for water.
