Lily

Hi my name is Lily. I am an all American mixed mutt. I am around 40 pounds. I come from the state of GA. I had a rough life in GA so I boarded a van to leave that behind me and find a home in the great Northeast. I am missing patches of fur from my life down there so I could use a little TLC. It is started to grow back in already. It does not bother me at all.

I am good with other dogs big and small. I also would do great being an only dog. I am around 4 years old, the perfect age if you ask me. I am good on a leash and have excellent house manners. I like to hang out in the yard with my foster brother. Being from the south the sun does not bother me much. I am also happy hanging inside on a comfy dog bed while my foster mom does computer work. I am very good listener. When my foster mom says “Lily” I come running from the yard and stop whatever I am doing. Even though I am a Southern dog, I prefer to be inside in the AC. 😊

I am looking for a person who wants to go on walks during the day and hang around at night. I would do well with a retired couple looking for a dog that is easy to walk and just wants to hang around the house. I would also probably do well in a house with older kids.
Who is ready for a super chill lady?

Lulu

Hi, my name is Lulu.

I am a southern girl from the state of Florida. I became homeless when my house had a fire. I boarded a van and headed to the Great Northeast and was told I would find my forever home here. Since I am a southern girl, I am ready for summer adventure.

I am house trained and crate trained. I also know many commands and come right in when called from the yard even if I am playing.

I would love a fenced in yard and maybe another dog. I love to run and play chase with dogs. I also can amuse myself by running after a ball or throwing toys up in the air. I am in foster with big dogs and small and I am great with all! I actually really like to kiss the small one lol.

At night I like to curl up on a dog bed and watch tv. I am a very chill girl. I am a good sleeper to and sleep through the night.

Cali – NC Eval

1 1/2 year old German Shepherd/American Staffordshire terrier mix – 60 lbs. – Cali is smart, sassy and energetic – she has not met a puzzle toy she cannot solve! Cali love to greet you with kisses when you get home – she loves attention, snuggling at night, treats and sprinting – if you are looking for a jogging companion she might be the one, although she needs to work on some leash manners. Cali is polite with dogs in public but prefers not to share her home with them. She has never been around young children but we think she would be fine with kids 10 and up (as long as they are okay with some jumping). Cats are unknown but our guess is she would find it very fun to chase them, so she would do best as an only pet. Cali is completely housebroken and does well with her basic commands, she loves to play and loves being outside so a fenced yard is required. She’s had 2 courses of puppy training and did great. Additional training would help Cali to channel her energy and create a bond between her and her new owners – Cali loves to be doing things so a home that likes being outside would be perfect for her. With a little work she could be a great weekend hiking companion or running partner – she’s a fun dog looking for a family to do things with. If you enjoy scenic car rides and a variety of cheeses, Cali may be your soulmate. Cali will come with all her medical records, if you are interested please fill out an application through Peppertree and it will be sent to her family.
