Wanda

Wanda is a sweet and sensitive 1-2yr old rottie mix girl from Texas. This gorgeous gal was rescued from a property in rural Texas alongside 35 other animals. The animals had been neglected and without food, water and care for quite some time. As a result, Wanda can be a little slow to warm up to new people but has the gentlest of souls and can be won over with soft treats. Wanda thrives when she is around other dogs, and she loves to kiss their cheeks, show off her play bow dances and look to other dogs to learn the ropes. Once you have earned her trust, Wanda is a super cuddlebug and very affectionate with her kisses and attention. She loves car rides and walks in the neighborhood. In her Texas foster home, Wanda went to the office with her foster mom most days and enjoyed sitting in on team meetings by resting under the conference table. She is a quiet gal and never barked during meetings or phone calls – the perfect office assistant! Wanda will be an incredibly loyal and loving lady for her forever family! Newman

I’m Newman and I couldn’t be happier if I acquired the most coveted mail route of them all… Hawaii.

I’ve only been in my foster home for a short time, but what a turnaround. I went from shy and timid to the life of the party. One of my favorite things to do is explore.

I love spending the afternoon out and about in the yard, running around and smelling the smells.

On a scale of one to ten my good nature is definitely a ten. Crate training is a strong eight, as I spent my first night sleeping in there all night. Potty training is also a strong eight. Accidents do happen but I’m already very much improved. Snuggling, well that’s easily an eleven.

Cosmo

Hi everyone, my name is Cosmo.

Similar to my namesake I am big-hearted and quirky. There is nothing I love more than stuffed toys- all kinds! I have quite a collection going and will let you know when I want to play with them.

I am curious and ready for adventure, especially when outdoors where I love to sniff around the yard. I live with two big dogs who are showing me the rules. I have been working on going to the door when I need to use the bathroom and I have been doing great!

I love when I get to lay on a nice comfortable couch and will show you this by snuggling for hours, after a good play session, of course.

And oh yeah, seeing I’m a sitcom star, I think TV is pretty cool- especially DogTV because it really gets my attention. I have watched many dogs doing fun activities that I would like to try.

My foster parents say that I’m the most observant puppy they have had which is a compliment because they have fostered many!

Cosmo is with our friends at Out of the Pits.

Elaine

My name is Elaine.

I love my foster siblings (3 dogs and 3 humans). I’ve never been around cats or toddlers. I love to be held and to cuddle.

I’ve been doing very well with potty training. I rarely have accidents. Before bedtime (approx 10:30pm) I go outside to potty and then I sleep all night. I’m ready to go potty at approx 6am, when those kids start getting ready for school in the morning.

I love running around in the yard and digging in the dirt. I take a nice nap after outside time. As long as I’m tired and ready to sleep, I do fine in my playpen alone. My foster mom says I’m a sweet perfect girl.

Elaine is with our friends at Out of the Pits.

Bella

Bella is 1.5 years old and at the perfect age. She still has some puppy energy but is able to settle down easily.

Bella is very easy to train, and very food motivated. She’s completely potty trained, does well in a crate, loves to go for car rides, and enjoys long sniffy walks in the woods where she can dig for critters. Bella enjoys enrichment activities such as lick mats, kongs with her dinner inside or, her favorite, her bob-a-lot. These items give her a job to do.

Bella enjoys learning new tricks and commands and is very focused when training. Bella does very well out in public. Bella loves chasing squirrels and chipmunks in the backyard so because of her high prey drive she would not be able to live with a cat.
